Stephen’s journey was marked by both light and darkness: addiction, complicated relationships, and a life-changing accident that left him in a wheelchair with ongoing health challenges. His path was never easy, and at times it was messy, painful, and confronting. But it was also filled with courage.
What never wavered was his love for his children and his determination to be the dad he wanted them to know. Every day was a new chance for him to try again, to fight a little harder, to show up in the ways he could. Stephen wasn’t perfect—none of us are—but he fought for his life, his family, and his place in this world.
